in February 2008, CT retired from Corporate America and began working Full-Time as a Humble Servant and Ambassador for Christ Jesus, focused on teaching and coaching others on LIFE topics: Financial Coaching (Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University); Relationships; Foundation Biblical Principles, just to name a few! Additionally, CT spends a good portion of his support for Father God, to assist the Homeless & Needy in society! Additionally, from 2013 to 2020, CT devoted most of his available time in working with Father God, to partner with Him to co-author the Biblical Reference Book, supporting the Biblical Book of Proverbs! Prior to CT launching his management consulting company, Tomlin & Associates in February 2008, and during the preceding 20 years, CT held various senior finance and general management positions in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services and technology industries.

From January 2004 to January 2008, CT held the position of General Manager, Business Excellence and Senior Finance Director with Microsoft Corporation.

From September 2001 to June 2002, CT held the position of Vice President & Corporate Controller with Bristol-Myers Squibb, in New York City.

From March 1999 to August 2001, CT held the positions of Vice President & Corporate Controller with Pharmacia's Monsanto Ag division, and Vice President, Auditing Services, with Pharmacia Corporation.

From January 1992 to March 1999, CT worked for the US based specialty chemical's company, Hercules Incorporated, and from 1996 to 1999, CT was the European CFO, based in Brussels, Belgium. Prior to CT's association with Hercules, Inc., CT served ten years in Big 8 public accounting, serving as a Senior Manager with Price Waterhouse, and Arthur Andersen & Co.

CT is a CPA, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard, and a BS in Finance & Accounting from the University of Southern California.

CT served as a ten year Board Member and former Chair and Treasurer of the Executive Leadership Council, and is a Lifetime Member of the National Black MBA Association and the National Association of Black Accountants.

In his spare time, CT enjoys traveling, fine dining, and community/church based outreach programs, and when possible, a round of golf or two.

Since taking early retirement on January 31, 2008, CT spends most of his time, devoted to serving Jesus Christ, in numerous ministries that assist individuals improve their financial lives, as well as working with individuals to find and build a closer relationship Jesus Christ.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 7, 2020, CT's first Christian book entitled: "THE BOOK OF PROVERBS AND WISDOM, A REFERENCE MANUAL", was published by HarperCollins Christian Publishers-ELM HILL Division, and WAS OFFICIALLY RELEASED ON JANUARY 7, 2020, and is currently available via both On-Line and Regular Retail Book Store distributors, as an On-Line, Hardcover and Paperback versions. With this book publication, CT can now OFFICIALLY be addressed as a 'Christian Author'! (Please note: ALL NET PROCEEDS, WILL BE DONATED TO THREE 501(C)(3) CHARITIES)!!!

CT has two daughters from two previous marriages, and in 2004, married Mrs. Beverly Brown Tomlin, also a PHS '71 graduate. Beverly has three adult children from her previous marriage. As of 10/25/2018, they were Legally Separated.

School Story:

A few of my favorite memories from my three years at PHS, would include my two years playing Varsity Football, playing and graduating in the Rose Bowl, being elected "Crazy Legs" during the Fall 1970 football season, standing up for Black student rights during my PHS tenure, as well as learning about the importance of diversity during my PHS tenure.
